The hotel is a restored recreation centre keeping local tradition and architecture in mind. First built by Kostas Frontzos, because of the fantastic view and the beauty of the landscape, it is now a traditional accommodation complex with both traditional characteristics and modern facilities. The hotel is of a monastic type, in the local architectural style. Local materials like wood and stone are predominant in its construction.
The hotel's restaurant is well-known for its authentic traditional cuisine, as well as the chef's international savoury selections.
