Alekos and Vasso
When Alekos and his wife Vasso decided to put their house for rent, at the beginning of 2005, it was not just the 3000 plus m2 of beautiful land attracted people.
The main attraction lay in the fact that the couple had made a luxury stone villa with traditional materials such as stone from the area, wood and marble, with an emphasis on harmonic coexistence with its environment. Another factor that contributed was the couple's decision to offer a percentage of the income for the protection of the Mediterranean seal Monachus-Monachus.
The Mediterranean seal is an indicator of the health of the marine environment and it is a part of the rich biodiversity of Greece.

Detailed description of the Caring for the Destination Initiative:
The owners rebuilt an old stable into a luxury villa with traditional materials. The stone, wood, and marble from the area exhibit the harmonic coexistence with the environment. They also created completely ecological gardens next to the villa, where the guests can harvest local fruits, vegetables, and herbs.
